This iconic event is a 404km, five day flat-water race along the mighty Murray River - bordering Victoria and New South Wales, Australia. The race starts in Yarrawonga on the 27th December and heads downstream through Tocumwal, Picnic Point, Torrumbarry, Cohuna and Murrambit  before finishing in Swan Hill on New Years' Eve.

"Take the Challenge" Funding Grants - Applications have now closed

Take the Challenge Funding Grants aim to support the communities along the Murray Region following the 2009 VicSuper Murray Marathon. Funds raised from the event will be distributed via an annual funding grant scheme, with applications invited from YMCA Member Associations who service the region, in partnership with local community groups or referral agencies.
