Step 2 – Set up your team / entry details

The nominated team manager is required to set up the basics of your team registration.

The team manager will need to provide a brief description of your team and provide the relevant contact details.

Step 3 – Team Managers Registration Console

View and edit team details, including providing us with important information on who your support crew are, if you’re camping with us or if you plan on booking alternative accommodation.

  • Make a payment towards the team’s registration or fundraising amounts
  • Add, update or invite additional team members
  • Keep track of which team members have actually completed their individual registration

Step 4 – Individual registration

All invited team members / paddlers receive an email (from Event Office) inviting them to join your team.

Team members / paddlers simply need to follow the hyperlink in this email to accept an invitation to join your team. The invitation can only be accepted with payment of the paddler’s individual registration fee. $225 for adults and $125 for paddlers under 18 years of age.

Paddlers will need to complete the following details:

  • Contact details
  • T-Shirt size - early bird registrations only (closing September 9, 2010)
  • Paddler Declaration
  • Medical Information (must have Medicare card details available)
  • 5 Minutes of Fame

Step 5 – Fundraising

The VicSuper Murray Marathon is more than just a test of endurance and more than a personal challenge, it’s an important opportunity to support the Murray River region.

Click here to find out more about how your fundraising assists us to achieve our goals.

All paddlers as a condition of entry are required to raise a minimum fundraising amount. While the method of raising funds may vary greatly from one person to another, each paddler can pay their fundraising money by:

a) Paying your individual fundraising money via this online registration process:

  • You can pay this in full during your initial registration or you can log back into your registration console at any stage and make additional payments.
  • In addition to individual paddlers making payments, the team manager can also make payments on behalf of each paddler, or as one lump sum via the team managers console.

b) Set up your own on-line fundraising page

  • Raise more money by creating a personalised online fundraising page with your own photo and tell your story about how and why you are trying to raise money.

c) Sending a cheque or money order directly to the YMCA:

  • If you wish for receipts to be issued, please send the following details with your cheque: Team/ Entry name, donors name, address, telephone number and donation amount. We will then send out receipts to each of your donors.

The most important thing to remember about fundraising is don’t be shy! Spread the word that you are about to participate in one of the world’s greatest challenges.
